BD Bacto™ Beef Extract, Desiccated is an animal-origin peptone derived from an infusion of beef. This nutritional supplement provides a mixture of peptides, individual amino acids, nucleotides, organic acids, minerals and vitamins. Dried from beef extract paste, BD Bacto™ Beef Extract, Desiccated has a granular appearence and different nutritional profile than other beef extract products in the BD portfolio. Customers have used BD Bacto™ Beef Extract Desiccated in a variety of mircobial fermentation cell lines including Clostridumspecies, Escerichia coli, Bacillus subtillis, Pasteurella multocida, and Streptococcusspecies to produce numerous animal health vaccines.
