BD Bacto™ Proteose Peptone No. 3 is an animal-origin, enzymatic digest of porcine protein. This supplement provides superior nutrition for fasitdious microorganisms with high proteose content and varying concentrations of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Customers have used BD Bacto™ Proteose Peptone No. 3, as a replacement for serum in many applications and have successfully increased monoclonal antibody and protein production with CHO cells for oncologic biotherapetics. In addition, customers have shown BD Bacto™ Proteose Peptone No. 3 is suitable for a wide variety of microbial fermentation applications in animal health vaccine production, such as with Mycoplasma vaccines.
