NeuroCult™ SM1 Neuronal Culture Kit is a standardized, serum-free supplement and basal medium for the culture of mouse and rat primary neurons. The NeuroCult™ SM1 Neuronal Culture Kit has been designed to reproducibly support increased survival and maturation of neurons in long-term culture. Neurons cultured for 21 days using NeuroCult™ SM1 Neuronal Culture Kit show increased cell survival, neurite outgrowth, and neurite branching, compared to a traditional serum-free medium.

NOTE: Requires the addition of L-Glutamine (Catalog #07100) and L-glutamic acid.
