Product Overview:
Poietics™ Normal Human Adipose Derived Stem Cells (ADSC)are isolated from normal (non-diabetic) adult lipoaspirates collected duringelective surgical liposuction procedures. Human AdiposeDerived Stem Cells (ADSC) from diabetic donors are available as a separate product. These cells have demonstratedvery similar phenotypic and functional characteristics to that of bonemarrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells. Normal Human AdiposeDerived Stem Cells (ADSC) have been reported to differentiate down manydifferent lineages including chondrogenic, osteogenic, adipogenic andneural. Normal Human Adipose Derived Stem Cells (ADSC)have been cryopreserved at primary passage. Pertinent additional donorinformation, including Body Mass Index (BMI) may be available by contactingScientific Support.

CryopreservedPoietics™ Normal Human Adipose Derived Stem Cells(ADSC) are guaranteed through 5 passages, to express CD13, CD29,CD44, CD73, CD90, CD105, and CD166 and to not express CD14, CD31, and CD45. Allcells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1,hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. ACertificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lot purchased.

· Adipogenic: PGM™ -2 Preadipocyte Growth Medium-2 BulletKit™ Medium (providesboth a plating medium and a differentiation medium appropriate toinduce differentiation of human adipose derived mesenchymal stem cellsinto mature, functionally active adipocytes; Each bottle of the PGM-2™BulletKit™ Medium contains enough differentiation medium to fully differentiateup to 20 million Adipose Derived Stem Cells (ADSC) [10 complete 96-wellplates] into mature, functionally active adipocytes).

· Chondrogenic: hMSC Chondrogenic Differentiation BulletKit™ Medium, with the addition of TGF-β3(provides adifferentiation medium appropriate to induce chondrogenicdifferentiation of human adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells intomature, functionally active chondrocytes; Each bottle of thehMSC Chondrogenic Differentiation BulletKit™ Medium, with theaddition of TGF-β3 (sold separately), contains enough differentiationmedium to fully differentiate approximately 12.5million human adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells[approximately 25 micropellets] into mature, functionally activechondrocytes).

· Osteogenic: hMSC Osteogenic Differentiation BulletKit™ Medium (provides adifferentiation medium appropriate to induce osteogenic differentiationof human adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells into mature, functionallyactive osteoblasts; Each bottle of the hMSC Osteogenic DifferentiationBulletKit™ Medium contains enough differentiation medium to fullydifferentiate approximately 200,000 human adipose derived mesenchymalstem cells [approximately 20 wells in a 24-well plate format] intomature, functionally active osteoblasts).
