Product Overview:

Clonetics™ Normal Human Articular Chondrocytes (NHAC-kn) are isolated from tissuetaken from the human knee.

Cryopreserved Clonetics™ Normal Human ArticularChondrocytes are guaranteed through 15 population doublings. Afterdifferentiation, they are guaranteed positive for collagen type II and sulfatedproteoglycans. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast,and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donorsand/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lotpurchased.

MostClonetics™ Primary Cells are also available as proliferatingcells in either flasks or plates, or aspellets in RNALater^®.

·        CDM™Chondrocyte Differentiation Medium  for differentiation of humanchondrocytes

Media are supplied in several formats:

Articularcartilage is characterized by high wear resistance and poor regenerativequalities. It is responsible for much of the compressive resistance and loadbearing qualities of the knee joint.
