Greater Than 50 Million Viable Cells per Vial

Lonza Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs)are isolated from peripheral blood by apheresis and density gradientseparation. They are guaranteed to contain ≥50 million viable cells per ampoule. HIV-1, hepatitis B andhepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate ofAnalysis is provided for each cell lot purchased.

Ability to Screen Different Donors

Sample representation in your experiment matters.We maintain an inventory of different donors in an effort to satisfy yoursample representation requirements. You can choose a lot based on donordemographic characteristics, and screen multiple lots to find the lot(s) thatwork best for you. In addition, we can request repeat donors if you needadditional cells from a particular donor.

Rich Source of Immune Cells

Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) are amixed population of single nucleus cells. They can be further purified toisolate individual cell types such as natural killer cells, T cells, and Bcells. In addition, PMBCs are a rich source of monocytes, which can be directedto differentiate into either macrophages or dendritic cells through culturewith various cytokines.

Supported by an Optimized Media System

LGM-3™ Lymphocyte Growth Medium was specificallydesigned for support and maintenance of lymphocytes and is optimized forserum-free culturing (additional cytokines may be necessary depending onapplication) Alternative media containing serum may also be acceptable. Pleasecontact Scientific Support for serum containing media recommendations.
