D(+)Galactosamine, Hydrochloride increases the adherence of polymorphonuclear leukocytes to hepatic endothelial cells and induces superoxide production. Additionally, D(+)Galactosamine, Hydrochloride induces hepatic damage, causing macrophage infiltration.
