Introduction	BMP2 belongs to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGFB) superfamily. Bone morphogenic protein induces bone formation. BMP2 is a candidate gene for the autosomal dominant disease of fibrodysplasia (myositis) ossificans progressiva.
Source	The BMP-2 antibody was prepared by affinity chromatography from ascites of BALB/c mouseinoculated by a hybridoma cell that secreted anti- BMP-2 monoclonal antibodies.
Host	Mouse.
Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity	Greater than 90%, analysed by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation	Samples are lyophilized in sterile PBS buffers.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute with sterile H₂0. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.
Storage conditions	For long-term storage, keep aliquot samples at -70°C. Once reconstituted, samples are stable at 4°C for several weeks.
Application	Applied in detections of antigen or antibody: ELISA or Western blot. For indirect ELISA, dilute antibody solution by 1: 250.
