Product Overview:
StemSpan™-Animal Component-Free (ACF) hasbeen developed for the in vitro culture andexpansion of human hematopoieticcells, when the appropriate growth factors andsupplements are added. Thisallows users the flexibility to prepare medium thatmeets their requirements.StemSpan™-ACF contains recombinant proteins andsynthetic components, and doesnot contain serum or other human- oranimal-derived components.
Usingappropriate StemSpan™ ExpansionSupplements, StemSpan™-ACF may be used toexpand CD34+ cells isolated from humancord blood, mobilized peripheral bloodor bone marrow samples, or to expand anddifferentiate lineage-committedprogenitors to generate populations of myeloidor megakaryocyte progenitorcells.
